Dubai: Sheikh Hamdan announces contactless hotel check-in with biometrics

Last week, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced Dubai’s new citywide contactless guest check-in system for hotels and holiday homes.

This initiative is developed and owned by the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET) to modernise guest registration, security, and compliance across the emirate.
